Well, it may come as a surprise to many people other than those of us who never underestimated Rick Santorum that 3 days ago there were 3 states which held primaries/caucuses and Santorum won all 3. Then in the 3 days since, he has taken in a reported $3 million in campaign contributions.
I suppose you can say good things come in 3s.
Santorum has sort of become known as the “Rocky Balboa” of the GOP presidential race in 2012, even being Italian and everything. He seems to actually thrive on being underestimated and overlooked.
Of course it’s not likely that he will be too ignored now that he leads in the number of states won by any candidate.
Regardless of whether he is ignored or not, Santorum has proven against all odds that he is a fighter;
and what’s more he’s a WINNER!
He was won more states than any other candidate, and done so on a shoestring budget. Now with his coffers stuffed he is poised to win it all.
